In the book “Nuclear Courage” written by J. Cuero we’re told the story of a young japanese postman named Sumiteru, who survives the Nagasaki nuclear attack made by the United states government. Luckily for him, he was far away enough from the main point of impact, he managed to live but his family weren’t lucky enough. When he was thrown away like a mosquito by the blast, he tried to save as many people as he could, he successfully saved a kid from burning house, but he lost consciousness while doing so, maybe because of the smoke. In the end he woke up and Heard the news about Japan’s forfeiting to the war with the united states. In the end, twenty years later he becomes one of the story tellers about the nuclear attack and he’s against the use of nuclear weaponry and he’s committed to the campaign of worldwide nuclear disarm.
